Anne at 10 months

Of course, Anne is now 11 months old, and it's really time for us to start taking these photos on time, rather than a month late. After all, Anne is doing a great job of catching up from being a preemie. She's petite -- 16 pounds, 4.5 ounces as of last week. But that's bigger than her mom was at this age! This month and last month were nearly impossible photo sessions. Anne flipped over the side of her chair while mom was taking these pictures, but whew, Mom caught her, and she hardly shed a tear.

We headed to Bethesda on Sunday to visit Malia and Dave and their big girl, Alexa. Anne loved playing with Alexa's toys and enjoyed being around a bigger kid. Malia took these beautiful pictures.

Here's a video of Anne laughing at pretend sneezes. In the background is Dad moving her crib mattress to the lowest setting so that we don't have to worry about Anne trying to climb out.

Anne's ninth month

We haven't posted in several days because Anne is keeping us BUSY. Anne is rapidly becoming more independent -- besides crawling, she's constantly pulling up on everything -- but that means she keeps falling down and bonking her head!
